🧠 President & Founder — Richard “Rich” BlackMan, MBA
Our organization is led by a professional with an MBA and a strong background in project management, information systems, and community-based services. His human-services experience includes designing and directing a community-service program and overseeing the development of its staff team. He also wrote and taught a life-skills curriculum while training coworkers to deliver it. He helped secure a $1.3 million grant, managed programs, supervised projects, conducted assessments, and provided case management for individuals with complex needs. In the information-systems consulting space, he created data systems for small businesses, resolved hardware and software issues, and delivered IT training. He has also provided pro bono consulting to grassroots leaders and legal-sector executives on cultural restitution, organizational development, and program design.
💰 Director of Finance (Treasurer) — Terron A. Chapman
Terron brings a decade of experience in cybersecurity along with advanced training in data science, holding certifications from Harvard and several other recognized programs. He has spent his career protecting systems, analyzing risk, and building secure digital environments while staying current with evolving technologies. Beyond his technical background, Terron has coached middle school football, demonstrating leadership, mentorship, and a strong commitment to youth development. Highly motivated to serve the community, he applies both his technical expertise and his passion for empowerment to help individuals and families navigate a rapidly changing digital world.
⚖️ Director of Governance & Records (Secretary) — Kenneth Edelin, Esq.
Kenneth Edelin, Jr. brings more than two decades of client-centered legal advocacy rooted in his belief that change must reflect greater fairness and equity for those who have long suffered in a system of oppression. Over the span of his career, he has represented individuals in both state and federal courts on matters ranging from early investigation to high-stakes trial work. His path includes twelve years with the Defender Association of Philadelphia, service at the Federal Office of the Defender, a decade running a successful solo practice, leadership as Chief of the Major Trial Unit, and later practice with van der Veen Hartshorn & Levin before reopening his own firm to continue providing community-focused representation. Educated at Morehouse College and Howard University School of Law, and active in Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. and the Prince Hall Masonic Family, Kenneth extends his commitment to justice through charitable, civic, and community-service initiatives that uplift those most impacted by systemic inequity.
